Experience/Background

I started my career in the Detroit automotive manufacturing industry, working with small to medium size companies, where I was lucky enough to fall into one great challenge after another.  In just a few years, I had gained experience in operations, quality, purchasing, supply chain management and sales.  I’ve worked in a variety of industries – metal stamping, CNC machining, roll forming, heat treating, plating, painting, assembly, injection molding, and plastic extrusion.  Through a series of fortunate events, I eventually became part-owner of a flat rolled coil steel company.

I moved from Michigan to the Tampa Bay area in Florida in 2008 where I became a Six Sigma Black Belt and began a whole new chapter in my life as an ambassador of quality.  I’ve added to my experience 3PL Third Party Logistics, lead acid battery recycling and subcontracted procurement services where I’ve been able to integrate traditional quality management with lean and Six Sigma to create comprehensive business management systems which include quality, safety and environmental.

My approach is no-nonsense and hands-on.  My workshops are all custom created to meet your needs and provide the value you’re looking for.  Whether it’s Corrective & Preventive Action Training or 5S, Lean and Six Sigma, you’ll get a fantastic learning experience.  But more than that, you and your team will get a chance to apply what you’ve learned.

My story is one of continual improvement. And I’m not done learning! My passion is quality. I love to talk about it, debate about it, teach about it and share experiences with other quality professionals who have a true understanding of the importance and real relevance of quality and how it has the ability to transform a company and its processes from mundane to world class.
